Carmel-by-the-Sea 

After designing a cottage style home on the neighboring property, the Buchannan's asked me to design an Italianate style home on their lot. This 1,800 square foot home was designed on a 4,000 square foot lot in Carmel-by-the-sea, Ca. Details that depict the style include double corbels supporting the eaves and a reclaimed tile roof imported from Italy. The three bedroom two and a half bath home was designed for entertaining with an open floor plan. The living room has nine foot walls with vaulted ceilings, and is the center of the home creating an impressive entry and access to three other outdoor areas which can also be accessed from the dining room and kitchen. The master bedroom is on the first floor and opens to the main patio warmed by an outdoor fireplace.
All the details including cabinets, tiles and fixtures were selected by my team and me. This home is an example of how CODG can design your dream home.
